Can anyone speak to the comparative quality between the two?

Navigator is $150, JCrew is about $180 w/ discount coupon. Advantage of the latter is I've tried one on, and it's a good fit, nice and trim, and I can get one immediately; disadvantage is wool feels a bit thin compared to genuine peacoat I used to have. Would it be a big step down in quality from the Sterlingwear?

Thanks

Good god, why is this even up for debate? With Sterlingwear, you are getting the real deal - about as authentic as they come. The damn thing weighs about 5 lbs and is super warm. Get a Sterlingwear (I would recommend the Authentic myself) and get it tailored just right to get a good fit. I wouldn't touch a J Crew peacoat....
