1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

hopefully it's Paul Smith designed, Lobb constructed and not the other way around

I can definitely see those Westbournes taking up residence in the shoe closet

I haven't seen the catalogue yet, let alone the collection, but from the pictures here, I am unable to see a great difference to the standard JL collection: the Westbourne looks to me suspiciously like the City II - the Lucca is the same as the Lounge (travel slipper).

Apart from the larger and different choice of colours, there might be some minor design changes, like a change in the perforation or a different medallion, but essentially they seem to be the same designs on the same lasts with a different name applied.

Nobody seems to have bothered to design a new collection on a blank sheet of paper.

    These are lots of fun!

I wish he would have been more adventurous in terms of materials. Some pin grain, hatch grain, or even exotics here and there would have added a great deal more individuality.

And why aren't they lined with a Paul Smith stripe?
