Oxblood loafers seem too old? What is your favorite loafer

Recently I went on the market for a good loafer, however there are way too many out there ...
I found one that seems nice but it makes me feel old somehow... and I am not sure about its style ... not very high hills and it resembles old loafer styles...
anyway I post pictures of that pair and another pair I have... VOTE! Do you like it? Should I keep it?
And also please suggest me any good brand of loafers similar to Tom Ford ... anyway pointy and narrow...

quite nice, they are very orange :)
I was actually looking for something more serious but still wearable in non-formal settings.
Maybe something black if the style is cool.
