I just bought a navy overcoat on eBay, very sober, with a good fit. But I had such a hard time buttoning it, that I realized the buttons were misplaced - I mean, on the wrong side, like a lady's overcoat.
Does it happen to see a men's overcoat with reversed buttons? Or does it inevitably look feminine?
Please consider I got it from an English seller (do Englishmen have reversed buttons? it was clearly sold as a "men's overcoat"). Nevertheless the label, written in Italian, strangely says the size is 42, which looks like a women's sizing since I'm a US 38 (= Italian 50 or 52).
So, is this a women's garment? And would it be ridiculous to wear it? It's hard to give it up, for the cut is perfect...
