Sure. As of last week, the last Few pairs of bison, which seem.to.cause all types of snafus, were being finished. Then all the finished boots will be sent to us.

Cheers,

Fok.

Haha, yep! I'm up on the far SW side of Longmont. Whereabouts are you? I talked with one of the owners of Steadbrook a couple months ago about bergs a few months ago.

Whoops, missed this - I'm in Denver now. The Steadbrook guy(s) is a friend of a friend - I keep meaning to head in one of these days.

I see the hashtag style forum, but I'm not sure about them. The slim waxed flesh were tonal stitching upper, white sole stitching. I can't recall the details for the fat waxed, as I did not order those. But you can clearly see the pull tabs, so maybe those are the fat jacks.

Fat waxed flesh was plaintoe though, white upper stitching and pull tab match though...

Slim should be tonal stitching with captoe and no pull tab

Looks like it's in the works...

@LA Guy can you check if those definitely are for a styleforum makeup, since the specs don't match either of the waxed flesh makeups

Quote: This is directly from the store dsecription of the boots:

Model: Service Boot
Last: 2030
Leather: brown waxed flesh
Leather (tongue): brown
Eyelets: 7 vintage brass eyelet
Sole: Dainite
Comments: straight toe cap, unstructured

There is no mention of stitching either way. Usually, the default stitching is brown, but we did not specify, and this is the description that was voted on by the community, verbatim. There were no additional specifications for the skinny brown... This is @BHK666 's original post, which also never mentions the stitching, one way or another: http://www.styleforum.net/t/454301/...-round1-2015-ends-april-7/100_50#post_7707131

If a specific characteristic is needed, it needs to be in the specs. I've put in a request to Viberg just now, if in fact those are our boots, but I'm not sure how strong our case is. Hopefully, we can get the boots restitched, but it may mean an upcharge, or may not be possible. Since the stitch color was not specified, this is not an error on Viberg's side, but on ours. No one caught this or brought it up as an important issue until this very moment...

On the other hand, if those are for the fat boots, the description specifically says "plain toe", so that would be an issue on Viberg's side there.

Cheers,

Fok.

I'm really hoping that its an issue with the fat boot, since that would be an issue at the factory. If it's the other makeup, we don't have a boot to stand on, tbh,

Thanks, stitching makes sense since it wasn't specified, but surprised they would add on a pull tab with that not specifically being specified if those are indeed the skinnies.

Ugh.

Yeah, with all those non-standard things - like the pull tab and the white stitching, it's probably the fats, and an issue with them...

Okay. It's my birthday, and no one is working at Viberg today anyway, until Tuesday, at least. So, I've sent in an email to both Guy and Frank. Not much can be done til then anyway.

You guys can talk amongst yourself, but just to recuse myself from this discussion until there is something that I can actually do.

Trust me, this last couple of rounds have been a comedy of errors at the factory (maybe it was jinxed), but hopefully, people will have their **** together, soon.

Cheers,

Fok.
