I'll be spending two days in London on business, and I can either hit Jermyn St on the evening of the first day, after 5pm, or then on the morning of the second day, before noon.

So, I was just thinking, how are the shoe and shirt stores of Jermyn St open, should I go there in the morning or in the evening?

Also, are any of the shops open on Sunday? I'll be flying in on Sunday, so that's an option as well...

If you visit the various vendors websites and follow links to the stores you can usually (not JLP) find the opening times. Never been on a Sunday I'm afraid but I suspect not.

Lewins is 9-7 (they take a lot of unfair stick here in my opinion, at 4 shirts for £100 or £90 with a corporate voucher they're a good everyday shirt).

Barker's certainly doesn't open till 11 which I'm pretty sure is later than the others (I certainly dropped into Edward Green while Barker's was closed).

I don't remember when they open but I do recall that many stores closed quite early compared to what I was used to in the US.

Most of Jermyn St is shut on Sundays and they close by 6pm most weeknights (Thurs may be an exception)

I was surprised to find everyone closing up at 6... in Paris 7 is more common.
