Maybe I'm reading your post wrong, but it sounds like you haven't washed and dried them yet? My J.Crew chinos in a 32 were way too long until I washed and dried them and now the length is fine.

i haven't. you think they'd shrink that much in the length? aw, *******. probably safer to do that and hem them than get the shorter ones and have them shrink up.

thanks for the tip!

yeah, mine looked a lot like that too. I'm glad I bought the longer length cause 30 would be too short. (FYI, I'm six foot)

Not in my experience. I'm a M in BoO and a S in SA; some people have claimed to have to size down further.

I have some Alden's that are virtually identical to those AEs and I would say, definitely don't do them with jeans. Be careful of what top you wear as well. Keep to tucked in sorts of shirts.

I'd probably lean black, but they're both dope; can't go wrong.

And in terms of the BR coat, idk, it sounds like it; can you get to a store to check it out in person? Their stuff is usually hit or miss, but apparently they've been stepping it up lately.

Looks good. If you can, I would try it on first, but that is just me.

Unfortunately they don't have it in stores anymore because its the winter collection...its cashmere/wool so its better than the triblend. I wish I could try it on so Im asking if anyone has here...

Regardless Im a universal small so hopefully itll work out...
