So which X-men movies should I watch?

Fist Class is the only one worth anything. Days of Future Past (Passed?) isn't total crap. The rest are garbage.

IDK - XMen 2 was fairly decent in its day.

I rewatched it about a year ago, I didn't care for it. The mutant equals gay thing and the whole Wolverine 2 thing was dumb. The Nightcralwer opening was badass as hell, I won't deny that. Shame they didn't put as much effort into the rest of the film.

Well that was completely over my head at age 16...

When Ice Man meets up with his parents it becomes pretty clear what the agenda is.

Wasn't it something like "Couldn't you just stop being a mutant?" by his mother.

EDIT -

I like how Harvey is just now waking up to the fact that the X-Men are used to point out social issues and discrimination in society. Well done.

If you don't see the difference between what they did in the comics and what they did in the movie then that's on you.

Magneto = Malcolm X

Prof. X = Martin Luther King, Jr.

Or is it the other way around?

Ok then explain the difference. I can easily point out numorous examples of X-Men being used to push a social "agenda" over the years, so I'm curious what you believe is going on differently in that one brief scene.
