Unscathed?? She had the middle of her shirt ripped off by some SW Galaxy tiger thing! ;)

I recently took two of my kids to see a revival in a theater (it was the SE of course, more on the later)

To your point on #1, yes, wholeheartedly yes. Although, to me, the SE additions really stick out, and not in a good way. Again, SE complaint, the Jabba scene really doesn't work for the story, or the pacing, almost like a retread of the Greedo scene and a stutter step pacing wise.

Overall, story, pacing and editing still hold up. Was a treat to see on the big screen.

If you're not afraid to sail under the black sails check out Harmy's Despecialized Edition

I went all-in and downloaded Ep 4 and 6 and burned to Blu-Ray. They look great. I think they are still working on ESB.

I'm guessing Disney wil release the original non-SE versions after Lucas dies. They will see $$$ to be made.

Oh I have them for home viewing (and Project 4K77, 4K83), you are not going to see those in a commercial theater....

I am hopeful you are correct. Then make unaltered versions available for cinema revivals!

I never minded the Ewoks. I'd take a whole movie about them before ever seeing Jar-Jar on screen again.
I don't remember hating the Ewoks when I was a lad, but they haven't aged well IMHO.

I did think it was kind of cool to see the Jar-Jar actor cameo in the most recent Mando episode though. Poor guy seemed to take the brunt of the hate for that character over the years.

Agreed on point 1. Very MUCH AGREE on point 2!
