I generally enjoy it but somehow can't find any emotion for the next season. The Mandolorians seem like a bunch of lunkheads with really dumb, self-defeating rules. Don't really have any interest in them reclaiming anything. My only issue with Mandalorian is that it spawned BoBF. Otherwise I find it pretty unassailable.

That said, the parts with Mando and Space Pikcahu are kinda cool.

I did like how Starbuck chewed him out for his helmet rule and laughed myself silly when the Blacksmith Mandolorian made Mando and Steroid Mando beat the snot out of each other to see who got the black sword. "Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government!"Trailer shows him with Grogu again so I assume that we won’t get stuck on Mandalore the whole time.
******* NERD!!Wow, caught up on Andor and they name-dropped the planet Mimban! After Star Wars left the theaters there was nothing but some comics. No Internet, just saving lawn mowing money to buy Famous Monsters of Filmland and other sci-fi mags to get set photos and sequel rumors.
Alan Dean Foster wrote Splinter of the Mind’s Eye which was the only new SW material we had. Story was set on Mimban.
Okay, 12 year old me channeled. That is all.

Yeah, novel was just them and Vader but no Han Solo IIRC. I think I only read it the one time. Not sure why the planet name stuck in my head. That's the one with Luke and Leia as (almost) boyfriend and girlfriend, right? Before Lucas changed the story
There is also an important section in Solo set on Mimban, where Han has been demoted to the lowest level of the imperial forces and sent to fight in the mud; it's also where he meets Chewie. The Mimban campaign seems to have acquired a certain place in the new canon as the lowest point of imperial conquest.
but not "why does this series exist anyway" territory like Boba Fett.
Andor pulled together nicely. It's definitely one of the top bits of Star Wars content out there. Maybe a hair too slow in the middle, but not "why do these episodes exist anyway" territory like Obi Wan.
