Based on my experience
Barney's will discount their merchandise at the beginning of Jun, that's just for Co-Op
After one week, designer stuff (Mcqueen, Jil, Lanvin) will be included, ready to wear about 40% off

then another 4 to 5 weeks, unsold item will be discounted again, about total 50% to 60% off, various by brands,

then another month or so, they will have their final markdown, it's about middle of August, but don't expect huge price difference. For final markdown, they will only decrease certain brands already on sale price, some designer stuff remain the same from the 2nd markdown.

Then another half month or so? maybe, they ship back their merchandise to warehouse, they sort, and will have warehouse sale.

i think a lot of people are gonna be disappointed by that oc sample sale. it usually has some nice stuff if you pick through it but its not as if there are racks and racks of full size runs of boo and ervell button ups, and even if there were, they'd be snatched up right away

right. You will find mostly O.C in house brand. Anything from BoO, Ervell...are left over from previous sales/mark downs that nobody wants.

good sample sales in ny have been fewer this year.

Not sure if ppl are on this already but Sierra Trading Post has some more Tricker's on sale. There's also a 35% coupon with free shipping going on for Memorial Day so Burfurd boots are coming in at around $317. Not sure if this is a good price but I see there's a lot of interest in Trickers from previous threads.
