I placed an order with UM yesterday at 5AM EST and have nothing to show for it, and the item is now sold out so I don't have my hopes up of getting a shipping notice. Though I'm kindof ambivalent about the piece so if it did get cancelled I wouldn't be heartbroken.

I'm pretty sure it's account specific as the code goes up to 40% off...ie Staywarm20, 30, 40...

Just called Unionmade. Said it's likely my order will be honored but that they "have such huge volume of orders they can't go down to the shipping department to really check". Which is funny because I've been to the store plenty of times and it's just two big rooms... He was nice enough thou'.

yeah, it pisses me off that they don't know what they have and can't just physically look! Unless there's an insane sale (highly unlikely at UM) on a piece I MUST have, I'm taking my biz elsewhere

online stock is not in the store and i think the warehouse has no additional staff, so yeah and up to Sep last year not automated either, not sure now though

Now I don't know about that, but wouldn't the site (or any e-commerce site) just automate warehouse stock inventory?

yep, its a total joke!....sales aren't even very good to boot, let alone justify not being able to return or exchange while paying for shipping
