I was close....

went to American Rag to get a gift for my wife's best friend and saw A LOT of **** that tempted me, but I held out.

thankfully I have some stuff I ordered before the club started that will be arriving this/next week to satisfy my consumerist fix

I was bidding on some Paul Smith shoes on eBay, but lost the auction. Are we counting intent to buy?

I do have a bunch of clothes at the tailor's, so that may be enough to hold my interest for a while. I don't think I can hold out for much longer.

^Yeah, but personally, I'm not doing this to solve any personal deficiency.

My strength was briefly tested by some C&Js (I count shoes as clothes), but I have not faltered yet.

Me too.

Then, I'll devote a month to selling things on ebay and get my clothes fix by getting the closet full of things I've already accrued tailored.

And.. uh.. I'll buy some new speakers.

Already on this bandwagon, made a trip to the tailor today to get the two shirts that came in the mail today (bought BEFORE this happened) tapered a little. I don't think they'll end up being slim fit unfortunately. I also plan to pick up some shoe care stuff + some trees.

Items ANCILLARY to clothing don't count.
