Too many people think these days that it's their job to be an asshole. Wish Everett flipped the table onto Rome's head.

I think you meant to say that you wished that he had picked up the table and smashed him over the head with it.

I agree with Shanahan's decision to shut down RG3 for the rest of the season. The Redskins are out of the playoff hunt, and continuing to start RG3 serves no purpose other than to satisfy his ego, which needs to be put in check anyways. In some ways, his wildly successful rookie season was the worst thing that could have happened to him, because it made him believe that he could step on to the field without any offseason work and one year removed from a college offense that bore no resemblance to a pro-style offense and start tossing the ball around like Peyton Manning. Quarterback is the most difficult position in all of professional team sports, and hopefully RG3 will learn from this miserable season and come back stronger.

^^ good point. i bet many teams that are well out of the hunt would love to bench their starter for preventative measures. the falcons come to mind. ^^

^ That kid's the only reason the Seahawks aren't considered the Miami Heat of the NFL

That bit they ran about the wallet thing won me over. Seems like a cool dude. The fact that he felt compelled to share it in a press conference made it genuine. Not like all of these PR ploys teams do during the holidays like Demarcus Cousins giving kids a Wal-Mart shopping spree. Those reek of marketing-by-charity.

I actually agree with John Madden on this one. If RG3 is healthy he should be starting. If he was good enough to start injured at the beginning of the year he's good enough to start now.

This is just bad all the way around.

Killing me. Need the SD loss to help out the Ravens playoff hopes. Tough 3 game stretch coming up.

Now Denver needs to rely on a Patriots loss. Scoring only 20 at home against a horrible defense is incredibly bad. This loss is on the Denver offense.
