Along with a dinner suit I'm also pulling the trigger on a SB / DB Navy fresco suit from Rubinacci (LH) but I'm indecisive on one more item. I still need suits so I've narrowed the list down but would appreciate opinions from the SF horde...

Navy SB - Nailhead (Birdseye)

Gray SB - Nailhead (Birdseye)

POW DB - Traditional Black / White

Brown SB - Houndstooth

Other

As a matter of context I currently have the following in my suit rotation.

Gray DB - LH
Gray SB - LH
Navy Pinstripe SB - LH
Two Gray Pinstripe SB - Davies, RLPL
Navy SB w Peak - RLPL
Gray SB w Peak - RLPL
Navy / Red Pinstripe SB - Isaia

What's the breakdown in terms of seasons?

I prefer nailhead to birdseye patterns, and I really like the idea of a navy nailhead.

Atlanta, as you are probably aware, has really only two seasons - summer and spring, so my options are usually pretty limited. Anything over 13 oz and I might die.

Not a fan of Nailhead (Birdseye).

Get the brown houndstooth. It might not be ideal for your job--can't really say--but it looks to me like you have plenty of blue/gray suits already.

Edit - wait, I forgot you're in ATL. Though I think of this as more of a fall/winter suit, it could like nice in a light weight cloth.

That you want to dress the same every day is your own matter. Why do you want everyone else to dress the same as you? It's like Woody Allen in Casino Royale...

Are all your gray suits dark? How about a light gray suit? Maybe in nailhead or sharkskin/pic-n-pic.

Since you've already got 4 navy suits with one more in Fresco on the way, stick with gray. I like brown but you might not feel like wearing it much in hotlanta.

I just think glen plaid makes for a very useful, but still interesting and conservative, suit. You don't see them that often, but nobody will think it odd if you wear one.

Brown houndstooth for the same reason as chorse123 and as it is less formal than what you have and are ordering .

I prefer light gray to dark. Hell, I prefer light gray to just about anything else.
