I'm really glad there is some sort of renaissance for this brand at least here in SF. I just wonder why the Paris decadent ones, to borrow Sho'nuff's words, aren't as easily available.

And I see they don't have band-aid colored shoes, too.

Though I've never followed through with a purchase, I've contacted the London store via email to inquire about the Paris models and they've always been available via mail order through London. Standard price less VAT.

These C&J Paris models will only be available in Paris. They can also be ordered from the C&J store in London. No other store in the world will sell them, which is a bit strange I think.

Lowndes - it's a benchgrade. I recently picked it up in dark brown calf and in suede. As far as I know the calf model is widely available in black and dark brown.

Does anyone really like those chopped n' channelled Chelseas? I've seen similar for a while - notably from Ferragamo - but could never bring myself to wear such a thing. (I do have 4 or 5 pairs of regular Chelsea boots.) They seem to be more a shoe a maker will add just to have another model than something that needs to be in a man's wardrobe.

On a tangent, but does anyone know of any similar to the "lazy" shoes in the 200-300 (300-450$) range?
