The shoulders may take some more thought. Am I correct to assume that shoulder extension could help remedy the divot issue, or is something else causing that? No pics, but I think the sleeve pitch is pretty good.


The choice to extend the shoulders is not what causes divots to appear or disappear. According to our resident tailor-members, divots mean the sleeve caps weren't cut right, whether the shoulders are extended or not.

Definitely extend the shoulders: you'll look much less round and frumpy.

Why don't you just show him Matt's pic with the changes? I think it looks much improved.

Also, I found a fuller sleeve with the "softer shoulder" model to reduce or almost eliminate the shoulder indentations, which is also related to how they adjust the measurement of the sleeve cap.
