New borrelli shoes, 11 d, $350 (retail $1350)

Here are the Borrelli shoes that I am offering here first, prior to putting them on Ebay.  I'm going to start them on Ebay at $350, but will offer them here for that price first.  I will also throw in the BB brand new unused shoe trees, as well as some dust bags (probably BB), as a free gift.  For those who can pay me via a debit card or Paypal balance, I will also pay for the first $10 in shipping.

Here are some images. Â Sorry if there are any duplicates in there. Â By the way, that shot from behind the shoe appears crooked a little bit as posted. That is because of the shadowing and the fact that my camera angle was crap (the shoe was on a table and I just put my camera lens at the tables edge and snapped without really paying attention to my angle). Some things to note. Â On the closeup pictures of the heel, you can see what may appear to be "store wear" on the at the edges of the bottom of the heel. Â Because the shoes have absolutely no creases in them, I wonder whether this is store wear or rather the result of the "tacking" that you see. Â The tacks were quite obviously done by hand (that will be the first thing you'll notice if you look at the shoe in person), and because the "store wear" occurs at the perimeter of these tackings, my guess is that the tacking device is what caused this. In terms of the color, I would say the pictures capture pretty accurately the color. Â The leather is smooth, and you can see that it has some natural shine to it in the pictures. Â The leather is also really exceptionally natural -- it is the polar opposite of corrected grain/painted leather. Â You'll also see on the one eyelet design that the laces stay in because they have leather wrapping at the edge of the laces. Â Like I said, the shoe is 12.25" long. Â I don't have the measurements off hand but I believe that the heel was either 1.15 or 1.25" thick. Â I don't remember the width, but it is a D that appears to run about like a D Alden (if that makes sense). Â I'll add the exact width in inches tomorrow morning. Â In the meantime, enjoy the pics.
