I've gotten tired of looking for RTW jackets that fit me and getting them altered, so I'm looking into getting a bespoke navy blazer made by a local tailor in San Francisco. I have a pretty good idea of what kind of fit I'm looking for, but I don't know anything about picking fabric except what I've read on this forum. Here's what they showed me (price listed is for a full suit, jacket only is 66%):
VBC 30319, Super 120s, 8.5oz, $1099
Wain Shiell 30572, 8.5oz, $1299
Bower Roebuck 90409, forgot weight but ~8.5oz, Super 110s, $1249
Dormeuil Amadeus 365 #202015, 8.5oz, $1299
Ones I didn't look at too closely at include Holland & Sherry (pricier but I think 10oz so maybe worth it?), Marzano, Loro Piana, and the cheaper Super 150s books with names I've never heard of. How are these prices and are there any clear choices here? Should I be looking for a heavier weight? Thanks.
