The two IRL pictures here of the Vintage blue make it look a lot more attractive than I thought.

I sent Mauro a PM asking about what he thought would happen with the Silk denim in terms of quality breakdown or fades:
"nothing [will be negatively affected by silk] silk is actually a incredible durable fiber. It's more for a softer feeling than anything else. I haven't seen a pair broken in yet so I don't know how the finish will end.
I am guessing it will have a little sheen to it but will get progressively softer."

Does anyone who owns/tried on a pair have any recommendations on sizing? Are they similar in terms to KMW, as in they fit your actual waist size, or something like APC.

they fit actual size

probably something like:
-your APC size +2 = N&F
-your Nudie size +1 = N&F
-your SFx5EP size = N&F

For the record, I got my Weird Guy vintage blues today and the waist measures a full 2" bigger than tagged. I may just keep them because I like slim jeans to be a little slouchy and they're sit way down on the hips anyways, but YMMV.

They're very stiff, so not that easy to measure. If you do the BIG method and pull the waist out to full width, I wouldn't be surprised if you got the same measurement I did. I also wouldn't be surprised if they were a bit inconsistent in sizing (I think the BIG site says as much).
