My eBAY AEs have a "W" stamped on the sole

The one on the left shoe is an M and the one on the right is a W. This is code for Mens Wearhouse. As you know, AE has recently tried to acquire MW as well as Zara. And they refuse to recraft MW shoes until the deal is approved.

Yup, AE's with W markings will not not be allow to be re-craft. Reason = unknown. Will email and ask.

I have a 'W' on a pair I bought on ebay too that were being sold as previouslyhaving been lightly worn. Although I would be interested on what it means it does not bother me. They serve next to my Loakes as my rotational black work shoe.
