My dream suit for autumn/winter

Maybe you'll get lucky and Ralph Lauren will do a DB Black Label suit in a similar fabric this year. That would have the slim silhouette as well as the enforced shoulder of the one pictured. That should run roughly $2k, maybe a bit higher (though DB will surely last until at least the first sale, since it's not as popular a style). You may also find BB doing another Milano DB like this:

Doesn't have that same sharp silhouette, but not sure how much the shoulders matter. Perhaps this is even one BB could do as MTM since they clearly have the fabric (they do grey flannel every year and actually did a Milano SB in this last year) and I'm guessing it would still run less than $2k. You could probably even get the ticket pocket while you're at it and the waist suppression to match the picture.
