Bespoke is bespoke, and theoretically you could compare different artisans on their lastmaking and patternmaking skills.
I would have to agree with you there, but I really like the design of this particular shoe. The only thing I would have done differently is a different colouring/patina on the shoe. I don't like the leather as much as I like the design. Part of this is poor photography, but I judge shoes on the way they look. I have no knowledge about lastmaking or patternmaking. For that I subscribe to fora like these, so I could learn. So if you might want to elaborate on that a bit further I (and I think several others) might benefit from that.
