Is there any good shopping in downtown Cincinnati? I will have a couple of hours to kill next week. I will be down town without a car.

I used to live in Cinti and work downtown. It's been a few years since I was down but choices are limited. There IS however one of the best hat shops around:

Batsakes Hat Shop
1 W 6th St
Cincinnati, OH 45202-2301
Phone: (513) 721-9345

Otherwise- downtown Cinti has been hobbling along for years. Oddly enough- there is a Saks and a Nordstrom.

And make sure you hit Skyline for chili (3-way) and definitely hit GRAETERS for superb ice cream.

^ ^ ^ +1. Batsake's is an awesome hat shop, and the owner is a fabulous Greek man who is really friendly and really nice. Mike Trotta's is a good tailor in downtown; I'd recommend checking them out. There is also a Saks Fifth avenue on W 5th street, not too far. There is also a Tiffany's around the corner from Fountain Square, also downtown. Outside of that, there are not a whole lot of really good stores or tailors in downtown Cincinnati. If you go to Hyde Park, there is a good AE store. Mount Adams has a few good tailors, and the Kenwood Mall has some decent stores, as well.
