Just received my first Meermin shoes. Double monks from the classic line on be Hiro last.
Really pleased with them, but I do have one question - do they normally send just one shoe bag? Or am I missing one?

I'm glad you like them! I'm still waiting for mine to be shipped. Got them in brown calf. The one shoe bag is hilarious....I'll have to buy another one or just use some other shoe bags in that case because I do actually bag them after use.

I am a size 42-42,5 EU in Herring. What should I choose? And also, are they very slow with shipping also? Thank you

They probably got slammed with emails over the holidays, but I was able to get a response this weekend. Perhaps, you could email one of them directly and ask again. You could try [email protected] as she was very helpful in answering my sizing and shipping questions.

Finishing leaves a little to be desired but the quality of everything else seems top notch.

Does anyone know if/when Meermin will be releasing a larger (or newer) selection of the Classic Collection? I have been looking at their site for some time now (even purchased 2 pairs) and would like to place an order, but I also want to see what comes out next.

Can anyone comment on how much thinner the olfe is compared to the hiro last? My double monks on the hiro last had a bit of heel slippage (which I remedied with a tongue pad). However, my CTBs on a supposed wider last (ama) fitted well. I suspect the hiro would be OK on a traditional laced oxford though.

I've obviously seen the meermin last chart but I'm after someone who has worn both if possible.
