There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

That's funny actually, because to me the latter pair actually looks more brown. I guess I will just wait and see. You're right that both colors are nice, and mine are more similar to the style of the double monks. I will know soon I hope.

Ouch. That's a deal breaker. Sure, yours is a pleasant color - but clearly the site shows a dark brown (almost chocolate) not a medium brown with subtle burgundy tones. I hope the dark browns I'm looking to order come as shown...

One of my friends have bought that one, and in the real it looks more like the picture on their website, but it is more beautiful inte the real.

I think that all the ligt on the UnnamedPlayers photo make the shoes look much lighter.

The colour you see in the picture is the exact colour they appear as in real life.

They aren't the same as the website, not possible.

On the shoe box it says "Vegano Marron".

Marron to me is alluding to a reddish colour, exactly like the shoes appear to be.

If you look at the colour of these shoes it is getting closer to mine but still not the same:

Then you get the wrong shoe, but it is very beautiful and because you like it I will congratulate you.

Those look awesome. Wondering if anyone here has tried to size up .5 from the Hiro to the New Rey?

I just got an email from Pepe in response to my initial inquiry. Apparently, their corporate email addresses were being bounced by my email, so he sent me a message from his personal address. Maybe it's possible some of these communication issues are technical in nature - although I don't which know side the issue is coming from.

    My dudes.

I think its time for me to plunge on this.

I read a lot of posts here, but mostly skimmed 30 pages of pics. Tell me what the scoop is - who do I email, whats the best last for me, etc. I think Im looking at New Rey, right?

    Input appreciated.

    Wait, what?

I think this new business venture has dulled your razor-sharp SF senses. ;)

However, we exist to pick up your slack - yes, i think the New Rey last will be of most interest to you.

I think you go a full size down with Carmina, so for the New Rey I'd suggest only a half size down. I haven't taken the plunge yet, but based on what I've learned from people here I'd actually go with the same size as I wear in North American sizing.

I have the Carmina split toe on the Alcudia last and normally wear an 8D. I got a 7.5UK in the Alcudia last and I found it quite narrow in the instep. I've worn the shoes about 15 times now and they're finally feeling good.

For those wanting pictures of the tan longwings, I've finally managed to get some in natural light. Sorry about the quality, iPhone is all I had on hand.

Hi Gents ,is Meermin made in Spain or China?
Sorry for a dumb question. Couldn't find an answer on sf search. Some where in this thread read something about meermin being made in china.

Fire an email off to Pepe with what your looking for, get the MTO linea maestro line. Theyll not be the "best" shoes you have but theyll be great all the same and for the price point you really cant fail !! Pepe is a pleasure to deal with , exceptional customer service really is above and beyond IMHO. Report back on what youve chosen or the Meermin bandits will hound you !!!!!

Spoo, I agree with the above poster. Stay away from New Ray unless you have narrow feet or want to size up. They are noticeably more narrow than C&J 348 last.

Is that right? I definitely figured the VIL was, but the new rey also? bummer.

The 9e in the 348 fits me great. I guess I'd have to size up to a 9.5 in the meermin new rey.

Part of their linae maestro line (though the tan ones are norvegesse). If you shoot them an email, you can order them like you would any other shoe on their website. A lot of models aren't listed there but are available in their store/email orders. Feel free to troll their tumblr for any other models.
