Does anyone know who manufactures Manolo Costa's bespoke suits - Martin Greenfield or Adrian Jules?

Thanks,

They are made at a place called Nunyabusiness. They have been around forever, but don't ask them too many questions. Seriously, who cares?

Seriously, who cares?

People who actually care about the quality of their clothing. Everything I have seen from MG has been of middling quality, while Jules has been far better. So, it makes a difference.

Will - thanks. If it's not MG, it must be either Jules or the Cicarelli.

Can you elaborate on this?

I didn't think that either AJ or MG were set up in a way to accommodate a bespoke pattern. I would think they could only support a raw try-on to an existing pattern.

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Bruno Ciccarelli located in Detroit, Michigan?

If I'm not mistaken, I think I saw on Bruno Ciccarelli's website that he is located in Detroit, Michigan.

MG is not, but afaik, Jules is. Ira at Herzfield told me so on a couple of occasions (and I had always found him to be very honest on HH's own goods). The owner of the old Venazi also told me that they only 'production' tailor who dealt in real bespoke was someone 'upstate' (fair guess that is Jules). In terms of the quality, I have seen well over a dozen MG 'bespoke' suits (incl. those ordered direct from Brooklyn and fitted by MG himself, and the top-of-line FSG suits). The stitching was mediocre and uneven, the sleeves were poorly attached, and his suits had some of the stiffest lapels I had seen. All these issues, coupled with the fact that he's not really bespoke (despite all the press reports), makes me hesitant to order anything from his workshop.

Then don't. Just stick to whover you use now and stop trying to find the Holy Grail becasue it doesn't exist. Just ask all those people on this forum that jump from maker to maker, spending tons of money and still end up looking bad.

Jesus, just shut up. You have absolutely nothing to contribute here other than random iGent pithisms.
