Loake shoes?

    http://www.plal.com/loakes.htm Any thoughts on the 521, about 5/6 of the way down the page, in the navy and brown. I also like the Imolas in putty right next to them. Any comments on the quality? Loake in general? Are they really only about $100? That seems ultra cheap at retail. Thanks, Dan

    US$100 seems indeed quite cheap for Goodyear shoes.

    Well, I have two pairs of Loake dress shoes. The 200 and Exeter. Even the leather on the latter is just passable.

    For a tad more money, I would get shoes from Cheaney instead.
