These are current season Kazuyuki Kumagai Attachment six-hole oiled horse leather boots. Absolutely gorgeous. I proxied them from Japan but unfortunately they are too small. I have worn them some before I decided that it was better to size up (evidence of wear in pictures).

These have a great workboot shape, and are made of a thick, but supple, oiled horse leather (some webshops call it cordovan, but I am pretty sure it is not shell cordovan). Because of the oil the leather darkens when it rubs against anything (laces for example), but then at fold points it lightens. As such it should develop a beautiful wear pattern over time. You can brush the darkened places out or could oil the whole boot to get a consistent color, but that is not really the point. The leather on these really is amazing.

I am a wide 10 and I could get my feet in these, but then walking around they were super tight through the vamp. I think they would work well for a 9-9.5 (42, 26). The toe box is generous, so that should be fine for most people. For what it is worth the outsole measures 31cm and is 11cm at its widest point.

Comes in original box with attachment shoe bags.

If you have any questions about them or what additional pictures feel free to PM. $500 shipping to US and paypal included. PM for international shipping quote.

Hi JW,

May I ask in which size you ordered them (re-ordered larger, btw?) and actually where to source them? I looked around quite a bit but couldn't find the info yet.

Cheers,
M

Hi DeSense,

The first pair was 42 and like I said in the post I could get my feet into these, but then walkign around they were super tight in the vamp. So I reordered in a 43 and they fit great! I am a wide 10.

I got my first pair from essence-web, but they are sold out now. I got my second pair from r & co. Here are some shops that still ahve htem (looks like only 41 and 42).

Thanks a lot for the advise and all the links. So I take it they are pretty wide, tts and a US10 would be a size 43 in them. Just bought some Heschung Malkos and although not the same style they'll have to do for now.
