Looks good! How do you like the NH last? I just received my whiskey shell SC2078 on the NH last. It is a much better fit for me than the SC last.

The width of the NH last on the widest part of the foot works way better for me. Break-in with the SC was long and hard, and was certainly not going to work with shell, which is why I wanted to try the NH. The fact that this leather showed up made me pull the trigger. I walked for 40 minutes in these with thick socks and no issue.

However, the toebox still feels short and narrow, despite looking bigger than the SC. Not a problem for me, but for people who need room for their toes this may not make enough of a difference.

Agreed 100%. I don't even have wide feet and the SC last was far too narrow for me in the toebox. The NH works well. It feels like a higher volume 2030 last.

Just purchased two boots from Junkard:

1) Plain toe, SC last with grey shell. I went for 8 hidden eyelets and the Junkard rubber sole. Loved the colour of the grey shell on one of their Instagram posts.

2) SC2089 (brogue cap toe) in simple black full grain leather. Again 8 hidden eyelets and Junkard rubber sole. I was in need for a black pair - value for money seems great for these ones.

I went with size 11 and the SC last. I like the pointy toe much better than the NH last. Even though I don't have super narrow feed, I never had problems with Viberg's service boots. I am usually a 10.5 in Vibergs. I will report back on quality vs. Viberg.
