The individual pieces all look great.

Maybe I’m old, but there’s a 100% chance I’d get laughed at wearing dress shoes and sweatpants regardless of how well styled it looks in a model shot.

When people adopt a full on designer look, it usually looks ridiculous when out and about in a regular town on a regular day. Like the Rick Owens days with crotches dragging on the floor and elbow length gloves with no fingers. Sure, maybe it looked edgy in a black and white photo in an empty room - walking down a suburban street, it’s laughable.
What’s crazy is, I’ve seen old heads around my way do this lol. But honestly I think it’s just for the photos. I need those creepers though.

I think the designers are going for “dress just like our models” less and less. It’s more so about showcasing each piece individually, at this point. Regardless, some can pull off that look you are opposed to. I don’t feel I am one of them lol, but in todays age, some can.

Wonder if John will ever dabble with shell cordovan, that’d be interesting. But then the shoes would be at least $800 lol

John said they were derbies ?

There are two, one is an updated version of the Creeper you know and love, with superior construction but in general the same style down to the sole.

What you see in the photo is the Creeper Derby. Same sole, derby style upper.

Why a bunch of you are sad it’s a derby, I have no idea lol. The derby is sick.

I don’t think it has anything to do with it being a derby, more so that we were sad it wasn’t the creeper. The creeper is a grail at this point. Big regret not picking it up before. So glad to hear it’s coming back.

Back and better than ever for sure. Looking forward to the drop.
