Luc-

None of the jeans above (Rescues, New Standards and Nudies) have been washed.  Have not worn the Rescues yet (waiting to break in my Nudies).  New Standards and Nudies have been worn about 3 months each without washing.  My guess is they both stretched out about a half inch around the waist due to wearing.

hey guys, first post after being a lurker for a long time -- i was lured by the denim topics. just a suggestion but, they way yall are measuring the waist doesn't seem to be the best method, becuz of the dip in the front. the amount jeans dip in the front is kind of subjective from brand to brand/fit to fit etc, so when i'm doing actual measurement i line up the front with the back so its straight across and take the measurement that way. if this has been mentioned, sorry

Yet another APC Rescue update. This time size 30.

Size: 30
Waist: 16.75
Front rise: 11.5
Back rise: 15.5

These are finally keepers I think. Interestingly, they seem a lot shorter inseam-wise than the size 31s, which were really long.

should people post whether or not they've washed their jeans?

edit: oh someone already said that.
