My apologies -- you are right, of course.

I did, however, try to not include any spoilers in any of my comments.

I thought the movie was actually really good. I wasn't thrilled with Casino Royale. I thought it was more focused on capturing a female demographic. QOS feels more like a traditional action film. Loved the clothes, and Strawberry Fields. I really wanted a look under the trench coat!

I hate to be the curmudgeon, but for all the hype and talk about custom fabrics and special techniques to proportion the suit to the new Bond's face I'm not that impressed.

Indeed. This is Chapter 25, "A Tie With a Windsor Knot."
The man had taken off his macintosh. He was wearing an old reddish-brown tweed coat with his flannel trousers, a pale yellow Viyella summer shirt, and the dark blue and maroon zig-zagged tie of the Royal Artillery. It was tied with a Windsor knot. Bond mistrusted anyone who tied his tie with a Windsor knot. It showed too much vanity. It was often the mark of a cad. Bond decided to forget his prejudice. A gold signet ring, with an indecipherable crest, glinted on the little finger of the right hand that gripped the guard rail. The corner of a red bandana handkerchief flopped out of the breast pocket of the man's coat. On his left wrist there was a battered silver wrist watch with an old leather strap.

To the average man Craig looks impeccably dressed in QOS. I think that was the idea, rather than trying to pass an acid test set by a lot of sartorial fanatics.
How could he have looked better? Or had more class? What other brands should he have worn?
Isn't this a case of not being able to see the wood for the trees?
The tie knot is a windsor, which is a mistake, but I don't think it will have a dramatic effect on box office sales.

Liked the waist suppression on some, but the shoulders were awful -- passed into caricature. (And I like the structured look, I imagine, much more than you do.) Thought the cardigan/cotton trou/suede boots combo was cool, but I would, considering I often sport it on the weekends. Overall, I enjoyed the movie. Did notice that there was some sloppy continuity in terms of the clothes -- there were at least two cuts where a character's shirt collar went from being outside his coat to inside.

+1. I don't think I would have noticed in my pre-SF days heh.

They probably just measure the width/height of his face and use some ratio to determine what the best collar would be and apply those "rules" about narrow faces/spread collars, fat faces/point collars. I suppose you could personally use a paper cutout to determine what spread/length of collar looks best on you by following this.

Yea, but those scenes were right after he had been in a wicked fight scene of some sort and I felt it showed a human side for him to not be "perfect" every second of the movie; something which Pierce Bronson was and it detracted from the movie because it made bond seem nonhuman. Craig definitely looks more like a guy who gets into some wicked *********** movies, rather than someone who always has the perfect plan.

Sure, but it looks awkward when a scene lurches from "collar untucked" to "collar tucked" in a split second, especially when it doesn't show Craig doing the tucking. Of course, they'd never show Craig taking the time to tuck his collar in because he's bad-ass Bond.
