@Thin White Duke - JMM is launching an emerald color way. I'm excited about it, though the first model is that horrible square frame.
Interesting. I already quite like the sage and like the rover even more. I imagine emerald would look similar to my Moscots.
Resistance is futile!

Edit - just did a quick search. The colour is similar but you’re right those square frames are hideous!

I give you the Squeeze, in Emerald....

BTW, JMM is apparently releasing the next Frontier series on Monday. I'm betting for at least 1 frame in the Walnut color way.

Caught a peek of the new frontier models saw 3 different. One was similar to the saint. Plus the Dakota ( the preview on Jerome mages IG and another with temples covered in a material similar in color to the new frontier wallet/ cases.

FYI I emailed JMM about the slip leather cases about being tight for the acetate frames and not offering much protection, especially if you throw it in a travel bag. I was told they discussed it at a weekly meeting and Jerome will be designing a hard case for all the frames. Assuming they do this (which is awesome customer responsiveness) looking forward to what they come up with. While I don’t have the burgandy hard case, it looks kind of bulky, so they can do a better job with a new design.

That hard case IS bulky but has to be to accommodate larger frames like Dealans. It’s gonna be hard to come up with a hard case that’s big enough for the bigger frames and isn’t bulky.

Hey, does anyone purchase JMM frames using their insurance, specifically EYEMED? Looking to take advantage of my insurance before the end of the year!

I don't see how they can design a single case for all frames, but I applaud the effort. The burgundy clam shell is very large. My Fellini rattle in them.

I have this from RRL, which fits all my models, including the PCH and Taos. Recently tried the Enzo and I imagine they'd be too big for this case, but otherwise, it works for most everything else. RRL makes a few different models each season (this season has a tooled leather design). Makr is also having a sale right now on eyewear cases, although I don't know if they fit JMM

This smoother RRL model is sitll available on eBay for about $150. Brand new version with tooled design is at RL right now for $200. The Makrs are $91 on sale right now.

It shouldn’t be a single case for all frames. Each case should target a subset of frame sizes. I know with the two Blake Kuwahara frames I have, their cases are the exact same design but two different sizes.

Do you have the smooth model or this one ?
Are they all the same size ? Thanks

I have the smooth one, pictured above in my post. I don't have any experience with the tooled one, but I imagine they're the same (sounds like you checked).

Ralph Lauren puts RRL stuff on sale sometime around late December/ early January. First round of cuts is usually 40% off.
