Jacket vents question

I am not working with a local bespoke, but rather remotely with a group that has a very good pattern of me and I have ordered numerous jackets/suits. They accommodate nearly every request (including an asymmetric collar, etc.)

I prefer double vents and my jackets hang excellently on the backside. I often put my hands in my pockets, etc. and have noticed that often the outside portion of the vent will 'hang' around the center portion. I can easily shake or push with my hand and get the correct orientation again. During day to day walking, sitting, etc. without messing around with my pockets the vent stays perfectly closed and overlapped. Heavier fabrics help of course.

Besides asking for a 'vent strap' or something along those lines, are there any particular buzz words or recommendations I should ask for on my next jacket? Perhaps, asking for more overlap on the vent? Lining the vent (I typically go half or quarter lined with heavier fabrics)?

Think the issue described is the vent spreads open at the hem and you can see the trouser. Vent strap won't help enough to keep the vent closed. Extending the side body under the back part and flaring out the back panel from the waistline to the hem will help with this.
That is if the fit is correct and balance isn't a factor.
Some MTM programs may not allow for this type of adjustment.
