Stantons are a nice slim fit and comfortable but not necessarily really formal in their cut and polish, still nice enough for casual dress

Looks good. How do you like the fit of the S/S shirts?

How do you guys like the Mougin & Piquard watches that J. Crew carries? I'm thinking of picking one up, and the watch looks pretty nice. Any better watches I can get on a sub-$500 budget?

seems very over-priced for a quartz watch from so no-name made-up brand to me. $100 for a Seiko automatic would be a better choice, or check out Hamilton (as mentioned already) or Tissot for other options.

I echo the sentiment of it being overpriced for a quartz watch from a company I've never heard of. Look into stowa for really nice automatic mvmt watches with similar looks, as well as Laco, which I have and have been really happy with.

Just recently picked up the green rain jacket thing (8th picture down from top on first page of this thread). Found it on sale for $60 at the clearance store. Not bad, but I had to size down to a medium. The large was really frumpy looking.

Come on J. Crew. Release your "vintage oxford short sleeve" OCBD shirt in lilac, please. I really really really dig the standard blue and salmon, just need it in a light purple and my summer rotation is set.

I own a Tissot (quartz PRC200), some Seiko automatics, and a Hamilton Jazzmaster (black dial). All are great for price point and quality. I do tend to favor automatics over quartz though since it doesn't make sense to spend a ton on something that requires a battery. Recently, Steven Alan came out with automatic watches that look pretty good for $285. There's a white dial with gold plating and a black dial with nickel trim. Check it out here: http://www.stevenalan.com/Watches/mens-accessories-watches,default,sc.html

I think they're a steal, especially since they come with a Horween Shell leather strap.

Our new classic style timepieces coming in either a matte black dial with steel case or silver/white dial with gold plated case. Stainless steel construction with clear back window and chrome finish hardware, 21 Jewel Japanese automatic movement, and 20-22mm shell cordovan leather band. Case diameter is 39mm width excluding crown.

• 21 Jewel Japanese movement
• self-luminous hands and markers
• 3ATM water resistant
• Horween Shell Cordovan watch band

without the steven allan logo that silver number would be one hell of a watch
