I normally wear a size L, and they normally fall to about maybe the middle of the back pocket on my jeans... a couple of Ulver shirts I recently nabbed, though, are a bit short (especially in back, where they end at about the top of the back pocket, which feels a bit awkward). The only reason I'm not tossing/tailoring (...I love the band enough to actually get their t-shirts tailored) them yet is because I'm still on the chubby side and have about 20 pounds to lose and some exercising to do to get some of the fat into muscle. I don't imagine my tshirt size getting any smaller (big frame, and the plans to at least not be hopelessly amuscular), but what I'm wondering is is do you think the t-shirts would fit better once I'm actually in shape? As in, they feel a bit odd to me going a bit short now when I'm packing a body sculpted by Wild Turkey, but if I were in better shape, would a tshirt that falls to about the top of a jeans' back pocket work fairly well?

Thanks.

I'm of the opinion that shorter shirts look better on people with weight to lose. They tend to fall in a straight line from shoulder to hem, where longer ones get all bunched up on top of your ass and accentuate how big it is.

with all respect my friend, most clothes look better on someone in shape (whether coming from being over or under weight), usually because of the confidence they are radiating.

BTW - I usually go for shorter fitting t's as a rule, and prefer these to longer ones

ah, neat... and definitely no offense taken; even just purely aesthetically between two equally confidence-radiating folks I know things look better on skinny people. plus, I already love the "hooray, I'm down to an A-cup" jokes I can scare all sorts of folks with even though I'm only halfway there.
