Hard to tell if it’s just the image, but appears to have contrasting buttons on the suit.
Also looks like it may have micro checks rather than being solid navy.

Would this make it too informal for an upcoming interview?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mav

The buttons look like they are a dark gray mother of pearl/shell so I wouldn't truly call them 'contrasting' in that sense. In indoor lighting they'll look dark greyish blue so most wouldn't really notice them. Even if it is microcheck, again, it resolves to a mostly solid blue so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I am involved in hiring/recruiting. That suit is fine. Good luck with the interview.
