First off, sorry if this is the wrong area for this question but it seemed like the best first to get a strong answer. A friend of mine bought this jacket off a seller from Australia with 850 Feedback (100%) positive, a history of CCP merchandise sales, and CCP merchandise in his inventory. The jacket does not have: A CCP label or the prototypical overlock fastening method but instead metal clasps with the same type of rustication. The seller stated that he bought this jacket and another jacket in grey from a local used designer boutique that specializes in celebrity clothing and one offs. He said that it was a custom order from some no name celeb... blah blah. Could be bullshit so I figured I'd do some investigating for my friend.

Here are the photos he provided me:

I'm just a little suspicious since it doesnt seem like something Poell would do (clasps) but I have seen the jacket in person and it is very good quality.

I'll let you guru's do the work though :) I'm not out any money so it wont offend me if its fake

The pattern and detail all look surprisingly legit, but it's nowhere near distressed enough looking to be real. Reeks of fake.

I know you're quite the leather savante impolyt_one (I believe you're the TOJ owner) but have either of you seen/handled CCP in person? Or windowshoppers like me lol? Just so I can weigh your opinions

Yeah I've seen quite a few at Lift Etage in Tokyo, including that one in the OP, but always in much more distressed forms. Never seen one so smooth and un-treated looking.
