Is this gray suit appropriate for my needs?

Sorry I should have addressed this. I have had the suit tailored. I will post fit pics if I get time. At present I am more concerned with preparing for my presentation.

Thanks for all the feedback so far!

Good luck with your presentation -

But I think it's about time that new (and old) SF members stop wasting their time with these kinds of threads.

I - for one - will stop taking the bait.

The answer should be, to questions like this one: "Search the archives."

There are numerous threads on SF that address the black vs. brown issue. There are numerous threads on AAAC that do the same.

Case closed - I hope.

Ok, so my presentation is tomorrow ans I've decided to go with the black shoes to be on the safe side. My last question is what tie should I wear?

This is going to be paired with a white dress shirt. Here are my options:

The flash came on during this second pic, so it may have misrepresented the colors.

I also have a solid black tie.

What do you guys think? Again, lets not devolve into the quality/fit of clothing, only what goes best in this case. Thanks!

"At present I am more concerned with preparing for my presentation"

I am afraid that you have warped priorities. This is StyleForum!
The color of your shoes is more important than the substance
of your presentation.

With this much style - he should be down with the Stylistics (to quote the late, great BIG).

No, seriously, I love threads like these.

He's a 21 year old who's lecturing to CEOs (WTF), but he can't pick out his own shoes and tie.

He thinks that talking about fit is"devolving" the conversation.

Here are some ties that might be more appropriate for his presentation:

Congratulations!
Soon you'll be promoted and ask for Style Forum's advice
