Is there a forum I can read to learn more about cars?

...in the same way that styleforum teaches about quality and value?

Obviously, I see lots of auto forums when I use Google, but I have no idea which ones are the Ask Cruisers and which are the StyleForums.

Most car forums tend to specialize in certain brands. One of the most popular general car forums, which is pretty decent as far as information, is The Car Lounge, accessible via the Motive Mag (an online car magazine) site - http://forums.motivemag.com/zeroforum?id=1. Lots of chatter and cross-talk, though.

Lots of forums exist for whatever vehicles you like. They're quite helpful actually.

Edmunds.com has some pretty nice car forums, info about every make, model, and car-related topic you'd ever want to know about, pretty much.

IMHO, www.carforummisfits.comis the best representation of a car enthusiasts' forum. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and there isnt an affiliation to any one car make like some other sites. I recommend a visit. Spend some time in the "lounge" if schedule permits.

www.pointedthree.com I just peruse the G-wagon forum there
www.amgpower.com Dedicated to AMG models of MB
www.odyclub.com Dedicated to the Honda Odyssey
www.team-BHP.com Dedicated to the car scene in India. Awesome forum IMO

Some ghetto wiggers on the MB sites. Perfect if you like 8 year old S class with 22" chrome.

Bunch of icy hot stuntaz.

Edmunds was good when I was researching cars to buy.. Discussions about the normal quirks and such. But I found that I needed to track down model specific websites to get in to technical information on the various cars. But, yea, good place to go to get an overview of a certain car.
