Is the "Die Another Day" collar the same as T&A's "Regent Collar"?

I love the the collar of the shirts Pierce Brosnan wears as James Bond in "Die Another Day." From what I have heard the shirts were made by Turnbull & Asser (and not Brioni as one would get an impression of watching the film). The collar of the shirts worn in the film reminds me a bit of the Regent collar made by T&A. Does anyone familiar with this collar have an opinion on this? have a look at these pics from the film:

That is a very common collar, medium spread or wide spread.!

You can see it in the mtm page of Finamore or Borrelli both Napoli.

to me it seems deeper than "regular" spread collars, also a little deeper than t&a's "Regent" collar. I was hoping someone with experience of the regent collar would comment...

T&A sell, in their Jermyn Street store, a 'James Bond' shirt. I doubt it has changed very much since the Brosnan days.

Those pictures are definitely not T&A's regent collar (i call it the Kudlow collar). Looks more like a Brioni shirt to me. The collar height is much higher and the spread is not as severe as T&A's regent. I have a number of bespoke shirts by T&A with the collar you refer to.

Edit: Also, almost all T&A shirts i have seen have a good amount of tie space. These shirts look to have no tie space which would hint at a Italian maker.

so the Regent has more spread, more tie space but is not as deep? can u wear a tie knot as thick as Brosnan is wearing in the pics with the Regent without the tie touching skin (i.e. the tie knot being vertically to big for the collar)? I am very curious about this as I am in the process of ordering bespoke shirts from T&A and want the "perfect" collar.

Sounds right, just google image "Larry Kudlow" and you will see the regent collar by T&A. If your dead set on that particular collar and they indeed made the shirts in the movie (quite possible) then i would just bring in the picture and ask them to replicate it. As someone else stated it seems to be a pretty standard collar style. I personally prefer the regent collar and if you want an English style shirt then that is the epitome of it. Simon, who originally measured me for my bespoke and conducted all my sample fittings (he's now in LA) pulled out a shirt that he said was the "original bond" shirt. I think he said it was the shirt style from Dr. No. It had cocktail cuffs and not as severe of a spread as there regent. They do have Connerys measurments still on file.

Good Luck.
