Funny you ask this. I mentioned the shorts to a couple of co-workers and they violently felt that 7" is too short. 9" was the consensus.

I'm also interested in a 9" inseam; I have long legs, and 7" looks like a pair of booty shorts on me.

I believe so. The trouser guys are super old-school, so they wouldn't bring in a fabric that doesn't work well as a pant. It's begging to be wrinkled and rolled up.

We've got you covered. The short will have a 9" inseam and a 10.5" opening. The thigh fit will split the difference between Walt and Rudy - so it will look tailored on slim legs but still be big enough for larger ones. They'll be room in the hem to let it out more if you're a taller customer, and you can certainly cuff or hem them if you want them shorter.

Ivory Seersucker (probably trousers)

Would wear all three of these. Seersucker in shorts or trousers.

Interested in the seersucker and grey fabrics as shorts. Which raises the questions:

1) When are these dropping?
2) How much?

We're planning to get them in about 3 weeks. I have to still get the final pricing, but we're looking at around $125-$130 for cotton and $145-$150 for the Tropical Wool. They'll have the same exact top construction as our trousers, and you can expect to get a lot of wear out of them. Like the trousers, you'll also be able to easily tailor the waist and seat.

I'm pretty well stocked right now, but I had enough fabric to make up another 8 units, so we're filling some extra units into our key sizes (including Walt 32). Those will come along with the shorts, linen pants, and tropical wool & gabardine re-stock.

Mike, got my 4 pairs of trousers today. Blue linen looks to be incredible as do the rest. Look forward to getting them hemmed and worn. Thanks!
