1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

yeah, I agree on the check, but that is the shit you can't do as a Norris finalist.

I fully expect that if the Habs do not take advantage of these chances (like the Gionta chance a second ago or this power play) they will 100% lose this lead and hit the golf course tomorrow. Time to bear down.

Wow. There is no way ovechkin's goal should have been waived off.

big time choke job by the Caps, incredible. I think Green lost that game for them (his penalty for goal #1, poor puck positioning on his part for goal #2). But where were you Semin? AO played hard, but they all had his number. Great game for Halak, the series against the Pens is going to be a hoot.

No I haven't. I was basing that on what I've seen on TV to be truthful. But I think that can be said for most teams. I'm from Chicago originally and as loyal as the Hawks fans can be it got pretty dark there before old man Wirtz died and they were sucking hard.

I grew up down there. No one went to games until Ovechkin came to town. Nice work Habs.

I don't watch a lot of Hockey, I know we have one of the best players, but DC is cursed for sports teams. I blame Mark Mosley.
