I view cricket players as the last great untapped baseball player potential.

These guys should be able to translate their skills into the Major League easily.

Austrailia and NZ have already made inroads into putting players into the MLB.

i bet the next wave of power pitchers (guys who pitch in the mid to upper 90mph) come from Cricket Playing nations.

I remember the Pittsburgh Pirates doing a reality TV stunt finding two guys from India who had just monster power arms (already throwing in the mid 90's with zero baseball experience).

baseball is a dying sport each year the viewership is dropping and can't deliver such a rivalry

Yeah, sadly, while India played well, this was a case of Pakistan losing than India winning.

But yeah, the finals are going to be fun, especially given that it's Tendulkar's home ground.

Well, even if you only count the top teams, you've viewers in India, Pakistan, England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, West Indies, Ireland, Zimbabwe, Holland, and Kenya. And that's not including the smaller teams -- I mean, doesn't even UAE have a team?
