Hello All,

My loafers have finally given up the ghost and I am in search of a new pair. For years I have been buying Bass Weejun Walton from their outlet stores. They seem to have changed their designs a few years back and gone to a crappier looking leather. The shoes I have look like this (not my pair though)

I have spent a year and a half looking for a replacement and have finally decided to ask. These are workhorse shoes, I wear them everyday, or nearly everyday, I almost wear them like sneakers, they are all terrain in my mind, a real workhorse. To this end, I do not need a $500 pair of shoes, I need a pair that will survive or is cheap enough to replace every year as I used to do with these

What I am looking for

1) Brown
2) Smooth leather NOT patent like the new stuff from Bass
3) Leather sole
4) Round toe. VERY round toe
5) NO logos on the leather (surprisingly common these days)
6) No contrast stitching
7) Flat strap

I appreciate any guidance or thoughts you guys can offer!

Their Weltline seem like a good pair at 340... Good find! Never saw them before

I'd look on eBay for NOS made in the US Bass, Sebago, Dexter, Cole Haan, etc. They often go for $50-100. You can find used AEs or Aldens for that much too, even shell if you're patient.
