How Well Does my MTM Dress Shirt Fit (pics)

I ordered an MTM dress shirt because OTR shirts either fit in the chest, but not the waist or vice-versa. How well do you guys think this shirt fits? I'm not terribly happy with it and I still think that there's too much fabric, especially in the waist and the yoke needs to be adjusted. Please excuse the jeans, wrinkles and 5 o'clock shadow

I like a slimmer fitting shirt, but not skin tight. I very much like the way that Phat Guido's dress shirts fit, if that gives you a reference for the type of fit that I'm trying for. FYI - my measurements are: Neck: 15.5" Waist: 32" Chest: 40.75" Yoke: 19"

In the pic above, my hand is pressing on my back, while my other hand is tugging at the shirt. I'm trying to show how much excess fabric is on the waist. I estimate about 5". I think that ~2.5" could be taken out. Thoughts?

It does not look too bad for a first try. Have you washed it yet? Most MTM shrink after the first couple washes. I have been working to get my shirts the right fit for a few months now. After washing post pics again and people could be more helpful. I am sure you will need to make some adjustments to the measurements then. From a quick glance it does look like the shoulders are too big, the chest is too big and the waist is too big.

It doesnt appear to be shaped correctly.

Also could really use a press, looks like you washed/dried it to try and shrink it a little.

Definitely too full in the back, if this is a local MTM outfit they should be able to tailor it to fit decently.

Yoke looks too long.

Yeah, I've washed it to try to get it to shrink. It's an online MTM, and this is the first shirt so we're still working out the kinks. The site is:

http://www.bestcustomshirt.com/

I bought some shirts from them before reading the negative reviews on this site. Oh well.

I think that I'm going to ask them to take out ~3" in the waist and 1" in the chest. I think the shoulders need to be shortened at least an inch (and they need to be evened so the left isn't lower than the right).
