How much have you spent at the tailor in the last month?

I haven't bought any new clothes this last month, but I've racked almost $250 at the tailor altering previous pre-SF clothes that I now shudder to think, I once thought fit perfectly. I mean ****, the cost of the altering on some pieces is more than I had actually spent on the clothing itself.

I'm new to SF, so I've yet to have the few jackets/suits I have altered to actually fit, but I'm positive the eventual cost will be ghastly.

How much does tapering the arm cost over there? I've literally tapered 10 or so shirts/blazers/jackets so far.

Poor economy, money's tight; I couldn't afford to pay myself for my tailoring.

So far I've only bought clothes that fit me well save for a MMM shirt which I took in to have the sleeves shortened and the slimmed and the sides taken in, all in all ran me $12 at a highly recommended tailor. I get to pick it up tomorrow, hopefully he's as good as I've heard

I actually spent about $100 at the tailor this month. I've put darts on pretty much all my dress shirts for work. Quite worth the money IMO.
