10 "nice ones" and 4 barbeque meal appropriate.

Actually, 4 of the "nice ones" would be more appropriately be called cashmere(3)/wool(1) shirts - they have polo collars and are very fine/thin. But they have the sweater-like bottom that is tight similar to the sleeve cuffs, whatever you call that. They are super awesome.

Was just thinking about this, since I'm picking up two cashmere v-necks. Once you start on the sweater addiction, it's a difficult one to stop. I have a light navy cashmere, yellowish/gold cashmere, black crew neck, and then a dark navy with a touch of gray v-neck as my core rotation. After that, maybe 3-4 others that I wear periodically. I don't ever wash my sweaters so having about a dozen is a necessity. ;)

Around 30, mostly cashmere and merino wool. Somehow I always think that I need more though but end up wearing the same 5-10 all the time.

@Hirsh
  how many do you own?

5 sweaters in total

2 navy cashmere that I don't wear because of my Siamese cats and their fur (last winter I just wore 2/3 ski thermal vests under my shirts as I'm so thin I feel the cold

3 from my late Aunts wardrobe (Pringles- unworn) which are like tents on me so I'm just wearing them rather than them go to charity like the rest of her ginormous collection of clothes

No plans to ever buy any more!

jet I think it's about that time of year for the Epicurean Knit thread to start frequenting the SW&D front page... too bad most of the older pics are broken

I don't know if it's in my mind, but the new cashmere sweaters i picked up (dior) seem super warm and toasty compared to my standard, thinner merino wools from jil. once i started feeling the cashmere i don't think i can go back, although i'm sure i'll ruin them in a drunken soy sauce fest if not careful.

those diors cashmere sweaters mustve cost close to a grand.

they make the best jeans and generally great style, also very expensive it being one of the top-end brands.

big fan of dior but cashmere sweaters can be bought for less in other high quality brands.

what seperates diors from others is the quality i suppose, ESPECIALLY the jeans, nothng beats diors denim that isnt "biker" balmain types. truly incredible jeans they made the 6 previous years.

what was the dior type of sweater did u buy btw?
