Im studying electrical engineering at school, and ya i have a job(where i am at right now lol)

Have you considered joining a club at school related to your hobbies/interests? Sharing commonalities with others is an easy way to build rapport.

Go with what works. It sounds like you have branched out to find things and people with similar interests always seem to get along together.

Have you considered changing universities? Maybe you just need a new scene.

IN three years of college it never crossed your mind to join clubs at school?

2 years of college not 3, and i guess not.

One thing i am worried about in the clubs is this as far as makin friends goes. A lot of the people in the club may know each other well, how do i just throw myself in there, i feel i just have to hope things will go well.

How would changing universities help when you haven't joined clubs and don't know how to network with people. You need to get the basics down first. Don't be afraid about whether people in clubs are already friends. At the begining of the semester every club has meetings and fairs to try to recruit new memebrs. Attend these meetings/fairs for clubs of interest. The organizers will be really friends because they are in recruiting mode. Once you join there will likely be other new members. Through the normal activity of the club you will get to know them a bit. Go from there.

Freshman year of college I had a hard time meeting people and making friends too. I joined a fraternity which quickly solved that problem (wish I took the other clubs more seriously though).

Find a group activity that you like doing, and do that. Talk to the other people doing it and suggest hanging out.

So the main advice I get from anyone or ever got in my life is stuff like the following: get haircuts, dress nice, talk with a happy face, etc..  and you will do miracles for yourself.

How the hell is any of that supposed to help i did all those and it didn't change a thing, not so much miracles lol

Also a common piece of advice i get is this, "Say something that adds value to a conversation". What does it mean to add value to a conversation lol?

I would also suggest not to be a whiny *****.
